Zoe & Jake had a beautiful late spring wedding at one of our favourite local barn venues in Oxfordshire, Stratton Court Barn. Zoe knew from the offset that she wanted a rich plum colour featured in her florals and keep it a little more spring like we introduced lots of soft pinks and peaches and kept the flower varieties very seasonal. Note my colour co-ordination, I wish I could claim it was intentional!

We do have a little passion or all the little floral pieces, especially buttonholes and corsages. For the ceremony we decorated the top section of the arch and the base planters, tied bunches of gypsophila to the aisle chairs and arranged a long and low display for the registrars table, keeping everything relaxed and rustic.

Preparations for the ceremony are all complete and it’s minutes from the start, our job is complete and I always wonder, how everyone is feeling right now? Nervous and excited for sure!

Aaah the lovely Zoe and Jake are finally “Mr & Mrs” and can relax and enjoy the celebrations and boy don’t they look just gorgeous.

For the wedding breakfast, which takes place in the same room, we filled Mason jam jars full of beautiful flowers to pop in the centre of each table to fit with the rustic vibe. Huge thanks to Jon Whiles Photography for sharing his fabulous images.

Dear Zoe and Jake, you were a delight from start to finish and we were thrilled to flower your wedding day, it was an honor, thank you for picking us. We hope you have a wonderful married life full of love and laughter. Oh and I can now say another heart felt congratulations to you both on the new addition to your family, I am so very happy that you’ve been blessed with a baby boy.

Sending you all our love, Joules & The Girls xx
