I am not sure if my favorite part of Sian's wedding was the amazing hanging ladder installation we created in the barn or the enormous fun we had at our consultations where Sian would insist she knew nothing about flowers but knew exactly what she wanted.

Sian & Phil chose the gorgeous rural venue of Primrose Hill Farm in Arlescote, Oxfordshire which seemed pretty brave to me as they hadn't seen the completed barn renovation before they booked and they were the first couple to have their wedding there but I need not have worried (they didn't)! The contemporary finish was as fabulous as the Farmhouse where Sian, her bridesmaids and her family got ready for the Big Day.

Sian was keen to have lots of texture and foliage in her flowers, she really didn't want the flower heavy, bridal look. Together we chose some blush "Bombastic" roses, a dusky pink protea & Art Deco" rose, astrantia, eryngium, seed heads, eucalyptus & olive. We all loved the gents buttonholes which included blue eryngium, olive, rosemary, berried eucalyptus, lavender & marjoram.

No amount of wind, rain or mist could deter this gorgeous, happy couple, it was smiles all round.

I love, love these images, thanks so much to How Photography. It's always fabulous to see how the bouquets look against the dresses,, it's when you know whether your florist got it right, I think we did!

Here you can see the beautiful contemporary finish in the barn, perfect for an elegant wedding breakfast and a sneak peek at some of the flowers in the 4m wide old step ladder which we adorned with flowers and foliage and hung up in the marque entrance - hopefully we have an image of the whole ladder to follow!

Thanks so much to How Photography for sharing these fantastic images.

Huge thanks to Sian & Phil for entrusting me with the flowers for your special day, I wish you every happiness.
