Polly & Nick’s beautiful December wedding took place in the stunning Chapel at Magdelen College, Oxford. It was an exceptionally romantic, candlelit wedding, captured perfectly by Joshua Gooding.

The stunning rooms in the President’s Lodge were the home for all of the bridal preparations. Fortunately we had to travel through several rooms to reach Polly so a guided tour was a very happy, outcome for us!

I just couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful scene for a winter wedding; setting up in the chapel was an absolute joy for us. Seeing this image makes all the work so worthwhile; the choir is in place, the candles lit and the beautiful Polly is patiently anticipating her (very emotional) mum deliver her reading, simply perfect.

Polly & Nick looking absolutely radiant as they leave the stunning candlelit chapel as Mr & Mrs.

Polly’s winter inspired bridal bouquet was full of texture and warmth and filled with “Quicksand” roses, anemones, amaranthus, lilac, lysimachia and a wide selection of winter foliage and seed heads.

The dining room was such a stunning location for the wedding breakfast. We created light, foliage garlands to sit around the base of the College’s candelabras for each of the trestle tables and beautiful florals rings for the top table candelabras. The urns were also relocated from the chapel to sit behind the top table to create stunning winter florals.

The Quad looked so magical when lit at night, the perfect backdrop for a romantic winter wedding.

Huge congratulations Polly & Nick, we absolutely loved preparing your flowers and help make your day extra special. Being surrounded by the joy and warmth of your family made it a joy for us. We wish you every happiness, thank you so much for choosing us.

Much love, Joules xxx
