I was thrilled when Lou & Tom announced their engagement, having had the privilige of getting to know Lou's family, I knew how much they were secretly waiting for an announcement. Of course I didn't dare assume I would be their florist, despite being assured it could be no-one else! Lou knew pretty much straight away how she wanted the day to look - relaxed, fun, and informal with a pale blue and white colour palette for the dresses and flowers.

It's always the highlight for me, handing over the bride's bouquet and seeing the sparkle in her eyes and maybe a little tear too! Lou and her mum look so relaxed after their yoga routine the night before with the girls. Great friends are always good to have around, especially when they agree to style you hair on your big day.

The boys look so chilled and calm but the wind whipped up that day so a quick rearranging of Lou's gorgeous gown was needed before she smiled her way into All Saints church in the beautiful hamlet of Hillesden in Buckinghamshire. Lou's beautiful dress   and was altered by Lucie Green Bridal who also added the exquisite detailing and matched her shoes.

The wedding reception was in a marque a few miles away at Huntsmill Farm, Shalstone which set the scene for a truly relaxed affair and beautiful views all around. Together we chose a selection of pale blue and white seasonal summer flowers for informal vase arrangements placed on a wood slice for each table and dotted around the marque. Lou was keen to incorporate lots of textured foliage and herbs, especially rosemary for remembrance.

Lou & Tom would like to thank their friends and Molly Jane Lewis for taking the magical photos and video and Ed Cusick for entertaining the wedding party with his musical talent throughout the evening.

What a super gorgeous couple, wishing you every happiness Mr & Mrs Amos.
