We had such an amazing time collaborating with some of the most talented and creative wedding pro's and the results are awesome thanks to Sam Bennett Photography for the stunning images, Lauren Wheeler Make up Artist and Amazing Tipis for organising the shoot and inspiring the team (Full credits below).
The joy of a tipi wedding is the opportunity to style it to fit your vision and personality, it's rather like a beautiful blank canvas and the results are eneviatbaly relaxed.
I had the absolute joy of working alongside a rather lovely "flowery" friend of mine, Jemma at The Flower Shed Oxford. I hugely admire her work and we had such a blast working together. We spoke about the flower choice and agreed on a rich autumnal palette full of textured seed heads & foliage and pops of soft, paler colours to compliment the interior of the tipi. We ordered our flowers and then simply worked together on the day, knowing we had such a similar approach, we loved the results. Here we are hard at work!
I opted for colour and Jem made an all green bouquet, both were full of texture and perfect for an autumn inspired wedding. Oooh and we love trailing ribbons and masses of foliage.
Staying seasonal with your flowers is key for me, even the buttonholes can reflect the time of year and adding finishing touches such as glowing candles and berries, brings an extra touch of magic.
