I had such a wonderful time helping Alex & Liam plan their wedding, they knew exactly how they wanted the day to feel. With their families planning both a traditional Indian and Greek ceremony, their wedding at Stowe House in Buckinghamshire was to be their "baby" and nothing was left  to chance. It was the perfect English summer wedding and the stunning images from Benjamin Toms Photography captured the day and all the highlights perfectly.

Alex and Liam had a civil ceremony in the Marble Saloon, a truly elegant room with stunning proportions and a magical quality. We created 2 focal displays and hung simple bunches of wax flower from the chairs, just enough without trying to compete with the beautiful decor.

Alex chose a soft, blush pink for her bridesmaids' dresses so we kept the flowers in a similarly soft colour, working with seasonal, country garden style flowers and introducing lots of soft green foliage for a fresh, summery vibe. With so many fabulous locations at Stowe, and a talented photographer, the results were stunning.

The view from the South Portico across the gardens to the lake and the arch. This was our favourite table plan for 2017, using a restored ladder and shelves (from an old pottery) and a collection of rose gold pots filled with herbs.

The wedding breakfast was in the State Dining Room with 3 long trestle tables and a top table which we dressed with beautiful floral runners down the middle. The runners were at total of 145 feet in length and quite a feat to install in time but we did it and were thrilled with the results.

The perfect end to a perfect day with fireworks from Titanium Fireworks who always produce a breathtaking display.
